When I was drawing this collection, I was looking at lot of old family photos. I really love the shapes that the clothes in those pictures made on my body when I was young, so this is a playful contemporary recreation of those memories. With a big exaggerated silhouette and dropped shoulders it’s long enough that it can be worn as a top or a dress. The pattern is a magnification of a hand drawn sketch that we converted into a rotary print. It’s designed to get better and better with each wear. The fabric was made in Leicester by a small family run mill who specialise in jerseys and knits, with a particular focus on organic fabrics.
